Polish guitarist and composer, Maciek Pysz presents his new quartet and music from his upcoming album. Recently signed to Dot Time records, Maciek’s new album "A Journey" was recorded in Italy and will be launched in November at the EFG London Jazz Festival. Maciek was influenced by Pat Metheny, Ralph Towner, and Brad Mehldau, as well as range of music from Tango, Flamenco to Brazilian and Classical. An engaging performer with a sense of the cinematic, his band features the amazing Asaf Sirkis on drums , Yaron Stavi on bass and Maurizio Minardi on piano and accordion. The quartet will present an exciting programme featuring new music as well as compositions from their first album "Insight". This promises to be an unforgettable evening of world music, jazz and fusion combined with heart touching melodies.
Znany i popularny na jazzowych scenach brytyjskich i europejskich, polski gitarzysta Maciek Pysz prezentuje swój najnowszy projekt z udziałem swego kwartetu, z którym wykona kompozycje z albumu “A Journey”. Oficjalna premiera albumu nagranego we Włoszech odbędzie się w ramach London Jazz Festival w listopadzie tego roku. Maciek czerpie inspiracje z twórczości takich muzyków jak Pat Metheny, Ralph Towner czy Brad Mehldau, sięga również do brazylijskiej muzyki, tanga oraz hiszpańskiego flamenco. Maćkowi towarzyszyć będą wybitni londyńscy muzycy: Yaron Stavi – kontrabas, Asaf Sirkis – perkusja oraz Maurizio Minardi – fortepian i akordeon.
