Kate Williams Quartet featuring Gareth Lockrane!
The band will be playing a varied program of music including some from Kate’s recently released album “On the Wing of a Dragonfly’ as well as pieces by A.C. Jobim, Bill Evans, Fats Waller and Mulgrew Miller.

Kate Williams has gained a reputation as both a distinctive writer and performer.
She has released several CDs, each one to critical acclaim, including “Made Up and Atlas and Vulcana” (with her septet) and “Smoke and Mirrors” (with tenor saxophonist, the late Bobby Wellins). In 2020 she won the Parliamentary Jazz Award for album of the year for “Finding Home”, a collaboration between her band Four Plus Three and vocalist Georgia Mancio. Her latest CD, “On the Wing of a Dragonfly” was released in May 2026.

Gareth Lockrane is an award-winning jazz flautist, composer and arranger who has worked with a vast range of musicians and ensembles including the late Bheki Mseleku, James Taylor Quartet, Dick Oatts, Gwilym Simcock, Christine Tobin, and the Heritage Orchestra. Gareth runs his own big band which has recorded two critically acclaimed albums to date.
Jeremy Brown is much in demand to perform and record with many UK artists, including Stacey Kent and The John Wilson Orchestra, and has also worked with visiting artists such as Art Farmer, Charles McPherson, Deborah Brown and more recently Joe Magnarell. Jeremy is currently a member of the BBC Big Band, and continues to freelance with various artists including Claire Martin, Alan Barnes and James Pearson.
David Ingamells has established himself as one of the most versatile jazz drummers of his generation. He performs regularly at all the major jazz clubs and venues in the UK and works with several UK musicians including Harben Kay, Brandon Allen, Tom Ollendorff and Tara Minton.
