Jonny and his quintet will be showcasing his latest EP “Influences, consisting of 6 new original compositions, as well as performing a few tunes from his albums 'The Next Chapter' & 'Mellow Mind'.
Drawing from his roots in classical and jazz music, Jonny’s sound is also heavily influenced by electronic dance music genres such as Jungle, Breakbeat & House, and he blends these influences together in his writing, creating a very interesting and unique sound. Expect a fusion of soulful jazz harmony, luscious sound textures, lyrical guitar melodies, groovy basslines and intricate breakbeats.
Jonny Liebeck is a West London born jazz pianist/composer and graduate of the Royal Academy of Music & Trinity Laban who has performed at many well-known London jazz venues (Southbank Centre, Pizza Express & 91 Living Room to name a few), & has performed alongside artists such as Mica Paris and Omar Puente. He has self-released several albums & EP’s and has just released his new 'Influences' EP which he will be launching tonight!

Owen Snider (electric guitar) - Trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire and recieved a MMus in Jazz Performance, studying under Hannes Riepler and Mike Outram. He performs in London and across the world with artists spanning a wide range of genres and is currently focused on writing music for an album and gigging across London and the UK.
Donovan Haffner (alto sax) - A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and alumni of Tomorrow’s Warriors, Donovan’s musicianship has led him to play at prestigious London jazz venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, The Jazz Café, The Vortex, and Pizza Express in Soho and Holborn. He has also appeared at festivals including the EFG London Jazz Festival, Pitchfork Festival, Manchester Jazz Festival, We Out Here Festival, and Brainchild.
Tom Mason (double/electric bass) – Performed and toured with a wide range of artists including Questlove, Lizz Wright, Mark Ronson, Jamie Cullum, Daymé Arocena and Angelique Kidjo. Tom has also been long-term member of award-winning pianist Robert Mitchell's Panacea.
Andrew McLean (drums) – multi-instrumentalist who has played drums for a range of artist from Mark Ronson to Corinne Bailey Rae and Don-E. Andrew currently tours with the inimitable Grace Jones.

Czerpiąc ze swoich korzeni w muzyce klasycznej i jazzowej, brzmienie Jonny'ego jest również pod silnym wpływem gatunków elektronicznej muzyki tanecznej, takich jak Jungle, Breakbeat & House, i łączy te wpływy w swojej twórczości, tworząc bardzo interesujące i niepowtarzalne brzmienie. Spodziewaj się fuzji uduchowionej harmonii jazzowej, soczystych tekstur dźwiękowych, lirycznych melodii gitarowych, porywających linii basu i zawiłych breakbeatów!
