The programme blends classic jazz standards with touches of Polish and Latin repertoire, offering a personal and expressive take on the music. At the heart of the performance is Elvira Rey - a captivating vocalist from Poland, joined by the dynamic John-Paul Muir Trio, creating a beautifully connected and engaging live experience.

London-based Polish jazz vocalist Elvira Rey is known for voice-led storytelling and stylish, genre-blending sets. Rooted in jazz but shaped by musical theatre and pop, she moves effortlessly from heartfelt ballads to swinging classics, Latin rhythms and modern tunes with vintage charm. She has performed internationally across Poland, Denmark, Germany, Italy and the UK, appeared at the iconic London Palladium, and is an active presence on the London jazz scene.
John Paul Muir has established himself as one of the finest pianists to emerge from New Zealand in recent years, and certainly one of the most versatile, equally at home in both classical, jazz, and contemporary genres.
Internationally acclaimed bass player Andrew Cleyndert has worked in the bands of British and international jazz stars including Stan Tracey, Ronnie Scott, Annie Ross, Bobby Wellins, Gene Harris, Junior Mance, Benny Green and Tamir Hendleman. He is also a highly sought after producer and has run his own label, Trio Records, for over 15 years, releasing some 36 albums.
