Clark Tracey Quartet: Tribute to Stan Tracey
2025 marks the 60th anniversary of the release of the UK's most iconic jazz recording, "Under Milk Wood", composed by the legendary pianist Stan Tracey CBE.
His multi award winning son, Clark Tracey, leads his quartet from the drums in a tribute to the music from that jazz suite, along with a collection of Tracey tunes spanning over 30 years.
The group comprises former members of Stan Tracey ensembles, including Simon Allen on reeds, Andrew Cleyndert on bass and of course Clark on drums. The piano chair is occupied by the formidable Gareth Williams, a force of nature in British Jazz and an appropriate musician for this job.

2025 rok zaznacza 60. rocznicę wydania najbardziej kultowego brytyjskiego nagrania jazzowego, „Under Milk Wood”, skomponowanego przez legendarnego pianistę Stana Traceya CBE.
Jego wielokrotnie nagradzany syn, perkusista Clark Tracey, prowadzi swój kwartet skladajac hołd muzyce z tej jazzowej suity, wraz z kolekcją melodii Tracey'a obejmującą ponad 30 lat.
Grupa składa się z byłych członków zespołów Stana Traceya, w tym Simona Allena na instrumentach dętych, Andrew Cleynderta na basie i oczywiście Clarka na perkusji. Fotel fortepianowy zajmuje potężny Gareth Williams, siła natury w brytyjskim jazzie i odpowiedni muzyk do tego zadania!
