Charlie Pyne Sings the Music of Peggy Lee!
Join Charlie and her band to celebrate one of the most iconic jazz singers, the first singer-songwriter, the woman who defined the sound of the swing era: Peggy Lee. Expect to hear Peggy’s biggest hits such as ‘Fever’, ‘He’s A Tramp’ and ‘Why Don’t You Do Right’, alongside standards from the Great American Songbook and some lesser-known compositions recorded during her seven-decade career.

“Peg is just about the best friend a song ever had”- Frank Sinatra
Charlie Pyne is a singer and double bassist who is in great demand on the London Jazz scene. As well as writing and recording her own original music, Charlie has always championed the Great American Songbook and grew up listening to and playing music from the swing era, which comes across in her joyful approach to this fantastic music.
