Adam Dyer Quartet: “Where the River Meets the Sea” - European jazz from a lyrical quartet!

The quartet will present music from Adam Dyer’s debut album, “River Spirit” and new music from a forthcoming album!

Adam Dyer is a graduate of Christ’s College, Cambridge and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Having grown up playing classical music since the age of seven, he took to playing jazz piano in his mid-teens. Following his time at the Guildhall he travelled to Scandinavia to study jazz for two years on a scholarship. He has performed with various well known jazz musicians, such as Bobby Wellins, Dan Berglund and Gregory Porter, and teaches a course in jazz composition for Morley College, London.

Duncan Eagles is a critically acclaimed English saxophonist who plays with Eric in the group Partikel. He has performed with some of the top names in the music world including Gary Husband, Zara McFarlane, Melt Yourself Down, Mark Mondesir, Ola Onabule and Janek Gwizdala to name a few.

Jakub Cywiński is a Polish-born double bass player who currently collaborates with jazz musicians such as Ola Onabule, Nicolas Meier, Julian Nicholas, Partikel, Duncan Eagles Quartet, Przemyslaw Strączek, among others, and plays at venues and festivals worldwide.

Eric Ford is a versatile and much in-demand drummer, who plays with Duncan in Partikel. He also plays for Clare Teal, Jason Rebello, Simon Little, Pee Wee Ellis and Guy Barker among many others.

Adam Dyer jest absolwentem Christ’s College w Cambridge oraz Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Od siódmego roku życia dorastał grając muzykę klasyczną, a jako nastolatek zaczął grać na jazz na fortepianie. Po pobycie w Guildhall udał się do Skandynawii, aby przez dwa lata studiować jazz w ramach stypendium. Występował z wieloma znanymi muzykami jazzowymi, takimi jak Bobby Wellins, Dan Berglund i Gregory Porter, a także prowadzi kurs kompozycji jazzowej w Morley College w Londynie.
