Denver Cuss is a jazz vocalist in her final year at the London College of Music. She received classical training from the age of 8 and names her musical inspirations as Ella Fitzgerald, Snarky Puppy, Chet Baker, Esperanza Spalding, Sarah Vaughan and Hiatus Kaiyote.
During her first year, Denver won the London College of Music Lutenor prize for Outstanding Jazz Vocalist, which had not previously been won by a first year student.
For this special event titled… A Chronology of Jazz, Denver will perform in a variety of styles that have inspired her along the pathway to becoming a jazz singer.
She will also be joined by support acts Alice Auer, The Jazz Cat Trio and The Bebop Experience, all of whom will be performing original material as well as jazz standards.
